Description
The comforts of home are collected on this canvas that is layered with paint and vintage maps. There are images of a vintage typewriter, handwritten letters and the shape of a house. The words, “a sense of place,” and “now” are incorporated. Song lyrics have been written into the background and hand carved stamps have been used for texture along with a vintage letter. The sides are a light blue and it is lightly finished with a matte sealer so you can still feel the paper, the brushstrokes and the texture.
